Indian smartphone brand Karbonn has debuted its Opium range with two smartphones, named N7 and N9. Both are entry-level models, runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) and available exclusively via e-commerce website HomeShop18.
Opium N9, priced at Rs 8,999, has a 5-inch 720p display and packs a 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM under the hood. This dual-sim smartphone comes with 4GB internal storage and offer microSD card support up to 32GB.
On the back of Karbonn Opium N9 is an 8MP camera with flash and a 2MP camera is in front. Connectivity features of this device are 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, while battery capacity is 2,000mAh.
Karbonn`s second smartphone in the Opium product line, N7, has a 4-inch display with 480x800p resolution and costs Rs 5,999. This smartphone also supports dual-sim cards, runs on a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 512MB RAM.
Opium N7 has 4GB built-in storage and can support microSD cards of capacities up to 32GB and has a 5MP rear camera with flash and a front camera of unspecified resolution. The device has the same connectivity suite as Karbonn Opium N9 and runs on a 1,600mAh battery.
